Two years ago, I was asked by SVP to share my story, and I talked about my dream: “I\u2019ve always envisioned myself working overseas in a well-known multinational firm, gaining experience through internships and social work.” At the time, I was a first-year bachelor’s student, not knowing that today, those ambitions would become a reality. My goal has always been to be successful and content, and I\u2019m grateful to see that I\u2019m heading in the right direction. I\u2019m now a Retail Learning & Development Intern at Under Armour EMEA, where I have the opportunity to work in a corporate setting, with an international team.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tLooking back at my time in SVP, I can see how much it shaped me to become who I am today. SVP gave me the space to explore my interests and develop my talents. Whether it was acting, singing, or debating, the extracurricular activities and service projects allowed me to discover what I\u2019m interested in. Furthermore, the IB curriculum has equipped me with sufficient skills for university, particularly in collaboration, organization, and critical thinking. The project-based environment fostered independence, allowing us to approach assignments in our unique ways.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tI was able to participate in a variety of projects and experiments at the school, which improved my comprehension of theoretical concepts. My interest in science and technology has grown significantly as a result of this. I was motivated to not just meet but beyond expectations because of the school’s emphasis on academic success, which ultimately helped me graduate with cum laude. Sekolah Victory Plus helped me to successfully go through the difficult decision-making process of choosing an appropriate program and submitting scholarship applications because of the advice and mentoring I received.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The incredible support from friends, teachers, and staff continues to resonate with me, and I\u2019m so grateful that many of those connections remain strong today. My fondest memory has to be the Japanese Immersion Programme in 8th grade. We didn\u2019t just travel around Japan, but also stayed with host families and experienced a snow camp.<\/span>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAs I continue on this journey, I\u2019m often reminded of how much I\u2019ve grown, thanks to the strong foundation I built at SVP.
