With a passion for environmental sustainability, the Green School Committee of Sekolah Victory Plus proudly presents a program as our teeny yet remarkable step towards an environment that is cleaner and eco-friendly: SVP Cleanup. This two-day activity was open to students, teachers, and staff. In this initiative, the Green School Committee urges every member of the school community to step into the role of an Eco School Warrior, champions dedicated to fostering a cleaner and healthier environment.<\/p>

Dengan semangat mewujudkan lingkungan yang berkelanjutan, the Green School Committee dari Sekolah Victory Plus menyelenggarakan sebuah program sebagai langkah kecil nan berdampak untuk mewujudkan lingkungan yang lebih bersih:\u00a0SVP Cleanup. Kegiatan yang berlangsung selama dua hari ini dibuka untuk siswa, guru, dan staf. Dalam kegiatan ini, the Green School Committee\u00a0mengajak seluruh anggota komunitas sekolah untuk mengambil peran menjadi\u00a0Eco School Warrior\u00a0yang berperan dalam mewujudkan perubahan menuju lingkungan yang lebih bersih dan sehat.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

On the first day, there were thirty five students, six teachers and two staff who joined the program. Before they started the cleanup, the Sustainable Education Coordinator, Bapak Romario, handed out cleaning utensils for the participants and explained the area for collection.<\/p>

Di hari pertama, terdapat 35 siswa, 6 guru, dan 2 staf yang bergabung dengan program tersebut. Sebelum mereka memulai membersihkan area sekolah, koordinator kegiatan, Bapak Romario, membagikan perlengkapan yang diperlukan kepada para peserta dan menjelaskan pembagian area sekolah sesuai kelompok.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Accompanied by cleaning staff, they swept through all areas of the school and sorted the waste into three categories: organic waste, recyclable, and dumpsters. Despite the fact the activity was carried out after school hours, our students and teachers were eager to take part in this positive change.<\/p>

Bersama dengan petugas kebersihan sekolah, mereka menyapu seluruh area sekolah dan memilah sampah menjadi tiga bagian: sampah organik, sampah anorganik dan sampah residu. Meski kegiatan diadakan setelah jam pulang sekolah, seluruh peserta semangat mengambil bagian dalam kegiatan ini.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

During the sorting process, they found a lot of waste that was not where it should have been. Through this experience, they learnt how important it is to categorize our waste according to the type of waste, but it can go beyond that as they inspire their peers to do the same.<\/p>

Saat memilah, banyak ditemukan sampah yang tidak berada sesuai dengan tempatnya. Dengan pengalaman ini, mereka tidak hanya belajar betapa pentingnya memilah sampah berdasarkan jenisnya, tetapi juga menjadi pelopor yang dapat menginspirasi lingkungan sekitarnya untuk melakukan hal yang sama.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

This commitment is growing in the right direction as can be seen from the continued enthusiasm on the second day. We had thirty two students and five teachers working together with cleaning staff. All participants had the chance to learn firsthand how SVP arranges our organic waste on the second day of the school cleanup. They proceeded to the Outdoor Learning Centre and mixed the previously sorted organic garbage with animal feed.<\/p>

Komitmen ini berjalan beriringan dengan antusiasme peserta di hari kedua. Terdapat 32 siswa dan 5 guru yang bekerjasama dengan petugas kebersihan. Di hari kedua ini, seluruh\u00a0Eco School Warriors\u00a0berkesempatan untuk mengetahui langsung bagaimana pengelolaan sampah organik di lingkungan Sekolah Victory Plus. Mereka menuju are Outdoor Learning Centre dan mencampurkan sampah organik yang sebelumnya telah dipilah menjadi pakan ternak.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t
