On 6 February 2025, Sekolah Victory Plus, an International School in Bekasi, hosted a vibrant learning celebration for Grade 1 students. This event marked the conclusion of their Unit of Inquiry, “How the World Works,” where students explored the theme, “The management of waste supports the sustainability of the environment.” The celebration provided an exciting opportunity for students to share their learning journey and showcase their understanding of environmental sustainability.
A Colorful and Lively Event
The learning celebration featured a lively atmosphere, with students dressed in colorful outfits according to their class colors—red, green, yellow, and blue. Parents also participated by wearing matching outfits, creating a sense of unity and community. The event began with an engaging presentation and performance by the students, where they shared insights about their exploration of waste management and sustainability.
Exploring the Learning Journey
After the opening, parents were invited to visit the booths where students proudly presented their projects. Each booth displayed creative works, such as recycled masterpieces, and students eagerly explained the lessons they had learned during the unit. It was truly inspiring to witness the confidence and passion with which the students shared their environmental discoveries during the learning celebration.
